Sunshine Soldier: Brad Henkel tpt, Dustin Carlson baritone gtr, Booker Stardrum drums and melodica.
Anicha started the night with a set of very beautiful music. The groups' compositions were lyrical, displaying notes of folkiness juxtaposed with odd meters and a few rock references from Sebastian's guitar.
Sunshine Soldier followed with a ruckus performance. Performing music that revolved around loose textural and melodic concepts. Brad Henkel's death scream balloon mouthpiece solo was definitely a high point for me.
